Mirkwood
	The Edge of the Forest This border of trees provides a natural boundary to the forest that is home to the wood elves of Mirkwood. Just on the edge of the Shire, few hobbits dare to venture beyond this tree line... Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0
	The Tree Cities These platforms situated and perfectly balanced among the high, thick branches of the trees of Mirkwood are where all of the wood elves reside and sleep every night. 	The Paths Few other than the elves themselves know all the paths through Mirkwood, and where they lead. So long as you stick to the correct path, you should be able to make it through the forest free from error, but beware the illusions of the trees. Rohan

	Dimholt To the East of the Haunted Mountain, there is a forest of pine and fir called the Dimholt. The Entrance to the sanctuary of those who are dead, and cursed, lies behind a stone in the midst of these woods. Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0
	The Paths of the Dead Deep inside the Dwimorberg, the Haunted Mountain, reside the spirits of betrayers. These wild men once promised to fight by the men of Gondor, but fled. Gondor

	Osgiliath This river town provides the last line of defense before an enemy reaches the gates of the White City. Normally a peaceful place, this town is situated both on a river and on Mordor's front doorstep. Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0
	Pelennor Field Vast plains strech out around the White City, flat and far reaching up until the base of the mountains barracading the lands of the Dark Lord and the mountains behind the city itself. Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0
	The Anduin River This river runs through Gondor all the way into Mordor, and along the city os Osgiliath. It has lots of fish and the current varies from place to place. Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0
	North Ithilien These are the lands owned by Gondor that are considered to be the northern part of Ithilien. They are between the Anduin River, and run right to the base of the Ephel Dúath, the Western Borders of Mordor. Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0

Rivendell

The Mines of Moria
	The River Sirannon This stream falls some thiry feet onto the flat grassy plains or Eregion, creating the stunning Stair Falls beside the Doors of Durin. No one knows where this river originated. Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0
	Stair Falls These falls were created as the water of the River Sirannon fell thirty feet onto the plains of Eregion. These falls are right beside the Doors of Durin and the Entrance to Moria. Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0
	The Grasslands of Eregion These grasslands are the spot where the striking Stair Falls plummet and reach the earth. They strech out from the gates of Moria, the Doors of Durin, for a long while. Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0

	The Endless Stair These stairs lead up from the bottom of the chasm under the bridge of Khazad-dûm up to the peaks of one of the mountains high above... Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0
	Zirakzigil Known to the elves and men as the Silvertine, this mountain peak sits at the top fo the Endless Stair. At the very top of this mountain lies Durin's Tower, a fortress built by the dwarves to overlook the mountains of Moria. Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0
Lothlorien
	The Edge of the Forest Just outside of the back gates of Moria lies a plateau leading up to the strangest woods ever seen. It is said that a witch lives deep in these woods, with the power to bespell any who come near her... Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0
	The Palace The palace of Lorien is one of the most beautiful places on earth, especially when the trees are all aglow in the sprintime and the flowers are in bloom. Here resides the elivish court at Lothlorien, and they preside over all in these woods. Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0
	Caras Galadhon Deep in the forest of Lothlorien is a tree city where all of the elves in this wood reside. Called Caras Galadhon, this city is home to the last remaining elves: the Galadhrim! Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0
	The River Through these woods there runs a river with a gentle current for the time being. After the edge of the trees however, the current picks up and the water crashes over the falls. Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0
Around Middle-Earth
	Erebor Once, a mighty dragon called Smaug resided in the halls below the peaks of this mountain, the Lonely Mountain, near the river town of Men. Filled with dwarven treasures, it was. Who knows what evil may reside here now... Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0

	Dunland These lands are home to the Wild Men. They have no honor, nor any qualms with betraying those in need. It is a treacherous land, no allies can be found here. Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0
Fangorn Forest
Isengard
	The Misty Mountains This great mountain chain runs across Middle Earth from far north to past the fortress of Isengard, where the Ring of Isengard sprouts from their base. Gollum's cave lies somewhere in the depths of these rocks as well, and eagles reside on their peaks. Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0
	The Ring of Isengard This circular set of walls surrounding and protecting the tower of Orthanc, at the heart of Isengard, are the tower's outer defenses. Built by the Gondorians, they create an unbreachable ring around Orthanc. Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0
	Orthanc This gigantic tower provides a stronghold for the most powerful wizard currently. It stands here, a spire in the midst of a flatland, surrounded by darkness. Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0
Mordor
	Ephel Dúath In Common, these mountains are called the Mountains of Shadow, and provide the Western Border of Mordor. This range of mountains is high and treacherous, and houses the home of Shelob, Cirith Ungol. These peaks are all that stand between two enemies, Gondor and Mordor. Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0
	Morgai Called the inner fence of Mordor, this valley and ridge among the mountains provides a second layer of defense for all the evil that resides in this land. Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0
	Cirith Ungol It is rumored that in the depths of this passage there dwells a great and ancient evil that allow none to pass. Many people vanish from around here, after attempting to exit from the lair of the Spider Queen, Shelob. Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0
	Ered Lithui Called the Mountains of Ash, this mountain range provides a natural northern border for the lands of Mordor. At a break of these mountains that streches into the Plateau of Gorgoroth, the Dark Tower sits, the fortress of the all seeing Eye. Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0
	Cirith Gorgor Called the Haunted Pass, this is the only easy way into Mordor. Thus, the Black Gates were built to guard those who dwell in this land of shadow and fire, and this pass is also heavily watched from the Towers of the Teeth. Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0
	Udûn This plain is situated directly behind the black gates, where the two mountain ranges meet, the Mountains of Shadow and the Mountains of Ash. There is nothing on this plain. Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0
	Plateau of Gorgoroth Between the arms of two mountain ranges there is a desolate plateau, called the plateau of Gorgoroth. On it rests Barad-dûr and the Mountain of Fire, Orodruin. This truly is a desolate place of fire and ash, with little water and food to be found. Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0
	Barad-dûr This mighty fortress of Sauron lies here, on the plateau of Gorgoroth and in the cover of the Ash Mountain. It has been his stronghold for many centuries, and continues to oversee all that moves in Mordor. Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0
	Orodruin More commonly known as Mount Doom, the one ring was forged here in the depths of this firey chasm and is the one place that it can be unmade. This peak stands on the plateau of Gorgoroth, and has incredibly steep slopes. Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0
	Minas Morgul Formerly a Gondorian watchtower called Minas Ithil, this place was captured by the Nazgûl and renamed "The Tower of Black Sorcery." It is not a pleasant place, for the undead reside here. Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0
	Imlad Morgul Also called Morgul Vale, this small plain is a strech of bare country behind Minas Morgul. If you can get past the city of the dead and the ringwraiths, you will be able to see where it meets the country of Gondor at Ithilien. Moderator: Arwen Evenstar	0	0
